This February, Million Dollar Vegan Director Naomi and her U.S. Naval Aviator husband Charlie will be cycling 240+ miles across rural India to help raise $2,500 for animals and they need your support!
The couple decided to go vegan together after watching the documentary Cowspiracy, and they credit Veganuary (an organization which provides free daily support, recipes, and information to people interested in going vegan) with helping them navigate the first 30 days of their transition.
After learning more about the environmental impact of animal agriculture, the cruel treatment of animals in the meat, egg and dairy industries, the destructiveness of modern fishing, and the health benefits of plant-based eating, Naomi and Charlie committed to maintaining their vegan lifestyle and to inspire others to go vegan as well.
While Charlie spent last year successfully demonstrating that you can maintain a vegan diet, and stay fit and healthy, even while on deployment, Naomi and her MDV team worked to showcase the stories of over 100 people who were able to transform their health or mindset by going plant-based: a campaign that inspired over 125,000 people across North and Latin America to go vegan.
Meanwhile, Veganuary motivated over 350,000 people to go vegan this January, and are a big part of the reason why 3.6 million fewer animals were killed in the U.K. in 2019.
To ensure that Veganuary can help even more animals in 2020, Charlie and Naomi will both cycle over 240 miles (about 400 km) across Southern India for them this February, and would like to kindly ask for your help in reaching their fundraising goal.
